ANDROID phone:
Android is a mobile operating system that was originally developed by Android Inc. It was later purchased by Google, which deployed it in its own brand of cell phones. Android is open source, which means that it is available free of charge to anyone who wishes to use it or make modifications in its kernel or libraries. A smart phone working on the Android operating system is generally known as an Android phone. A number of manufacturers have their own versions of Android phones with different specifications, though they all have some common features.

Most Android phones have color touch screens. For example, the large touch screens of Nexus, Galaxy and HTC are very attractive and have easy-to-use, touch-sensitive controls.

Different Web browsers can be installed on Android phones, such as Mobile Firefox, Skyfire, Opera Mini and Dolphin. The ones mentioned here are free to install and use. There are also shareware browser applications that can be installed directly from the phone over the network after paying a fee.

Every Android phone comes with a built-in email application that can be used to access your email servers over the cellular network.

Some Android phones come with GPS chip installed. These phones can be used for GPS tracking and navigation as well as for nifty applications such as finding a restaurant near your location.

BB phone:
